Michael Weinert, born on October 25, 1990 in Lahnstein, now lives in Münstermaifeld near Mayen. A quiet place – but Michael himself is anything but quiet, at least when it comes to cameras, cars and engines.

His path into the world of automotive media began in 2017 – classically with a GoPro. What looked like a hobby project at first quickly evolved. Two years later, a Lumix G91 became his first serious companion at events. In 2021 he took the logical step to full-frame – because the Micro Four Thirds sensor no longer met his standards. High expectations have always been part of his work.

But Michael’s connection between camera and car goes back much further. As a child he carried around his father’s camera, and later during his skating days he filmed countless clips – raw, unpolished, but full of heart. Even then it was clear: here was someone growing up who didn’t just want to capture moments, but tell stories.

Today he is known as MB Carmedia – and those familiar with his videos know: he doesn’t make simple car clips. Aftermovies are his strength. He doesn’t just capture machines but above all the atmosphere around them. People, encounters, vibes – everything that makes an event come alive. His camera is not just aimed at bodywork – it searches for what happens between the lines.
